Summary
This report invites the Committee to ratify the nomination of Faith Boardman as the Vice Chairman.
A. Recommendations
That
- members ratify the nomination of Faith Boardman as the Vice Chairman of the Committee; and
- members note that a report on the membership of the two sub-committees and their terms of reference will be submitted to the next meeting of the Committee.
B. Supporting information
Vice Chairman
1. At the informal meeting of members of the Committee held on 6 October Faith Boardman was nominated as the Vice Chairman. The Committee is now asked to ratify this appointment.
Sub- Committees
2. At the informal meeting members confirmed that they wished to appoint a Resources Sub-Committee and a Sub-Committee to consider productivity and value for money.
3. All members of the Authority have been asked whether they wish to sit on these sub-committees. Detailed consideration is now being given to the remit and role of these two sub-committees and a report will be submitted to the next meeting.
