    If a member declares a personal interest, as defined in the MPA’s code of conduct, she or he may remain in the meeting and speak and vote on the issue. If the issue is a prejudicial one, the member must withdraw from the meeting during discussion of that item.

    Tony Arbour has given notice that he wishes to ask the following question:
    “Will the Authority take the lead in considering the establishment of a national organisation to respond to, and assist in, the investigation and management of critical incidents? Such a body would consolidate national resources and expertise where a response is needed from law enforcement agencies.”
