Summary
This report gives details, for information, of action taken by the Clerk under delegated authority on the grounds of urgency.
A. Recommendation
That the report be noted.
B. Supporting information
1. Standing Order 6.1 provides for the Clerk or Treasurer to take decisions under delegated authority and in consultation with the Chair of the Authority where a decision is required urgently. Decisions taken in this way have to be reported to the next meeting of the Authority for information.
2. The following action has been taken since the last meeting of the Authority:
- Approving property insurances and premia from 1 October 2003 (ref 16/03)
- Approving funding for officers to be legally represented at an inquest (ref 17/03)
- Approving funding for officers to be legally represented at an inquest (ref 18/03)
- authorising additions to the posts to receive Special Priority Payments in 2003, for submission to Home Office for approval (ref 19/03)
