49. Apologies for absence
(Agenda item 1)
Apologies for absence were received from Boris Johnson (Chairman), Kit Malthouse (Vice Chairman), Faith Boardman, Len Duvall, Kirsten Hearn, Clive Lawton and Deborah Regal.
Having received apologies from both the Chairman and Vice Chairman, the Chief Executive invited nominations for the position of Chairman and Steve O’Connell was proposed and seconded to act as chairman of the meeting.

51. Exclusion of the press and public
(Agenda item 3)
Resolved - That under section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following items of business on the grounds that they involved disclosure of exempt information as detailed in paragraphs 3 of Schedule 12A to the above Act.
