Summary

This report invites the Olympic and Paralympic Sub Committee to nominate a Chair and Vice Chair for ratification by the Strategic and Operational Policing Committee on 16 September 2010.

A. Recommendations

That Members nominate a Chair and Vice Chair of the Olympics and Paralympics Sub Committee for the period July 2010 to June 2011.

B. Supporting information

1. On 24 June 2010 Full Authority confirmed the membership of the Olympics and Paralympics Sub Committee for the period July 2010 to June 2011, as Dee Doocey, Jennette Arnold, Chris Boothman, Victoria Borwick, Toby Harris, and Kirsten Hearn.

2. Members are now asked to nominate a Chair and Vice Chair of the Olympics and Paralympics Sub Committee for the period July 2010 to June 2011, to be ratified by the Strategic and Operational Policing Committee on 16 September 2010.
