67. Olympic Policing Coordination Status report update

(Agenda item 7)

67.1 The Sub-committee was briefed on Olympic policing activities and issues which had arisen since the last Sub-committee meeting.

68. Business case: Operational Logistics Infrastructure (catering)

(Agenda item 8)

68.1 Members were asked to approve a business case setting out the proposals for delivering catering services to the 280,000 officers routinely deployed for 12 hour shifts during the 64 day period of the Games, in accordance with the ‘Guidance on the Police National Mobilisation Plan’.

Resolved – That the preferred option be approved subject to a number of amendments being made.

69. Summary of the next meeting’s business cases

69.1 The Sub-committee noted the report on the two business cases which will be presented to the Olympic and Paralympic Sub-committee at its next meeting on Thursday 3 March 2011.
