1. Apologies for absence
No apologies for absence were received.
Reshard Auladin was unable to Chair the Sub-committee or to present during the discussion of items 5a and due to a conflict of interest
2. Declaration of interests
No declarations of interest were declared.
3. Exclusion of press and public
A resolution was put to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the remaining agenda item as it would be likely to disclose exempt information as described in Part 1, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).
Resolved – That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during the remaining agenda items.
4. Summary of exempt items
(a) Police Pensions Regulations 1987 – Application for a Certificate of Forfeiture
(Agenda item 5)
Resolved to make an application to the Home Secretary for a certificate of forfeiture.
(b) Update on ACPO conduct matters
(Agenda item 6)
The Sub-committee considered reports on a number of ACPO conduct matters.
(c) Settlement of civil claim
(Agenda item 8)
Resolved to approve an offer to settle a civil claim.
