If a member declares a personal interest, as defined in the MPA’s code of conduct, she or he may remain in the meeting and speak and vote on the issue. If the issue is a prejudicial one, the member must withdraw from the meeting during the discussion of that item. - Minutes: 16 May 2003
- Audit Commission review – ‘Setting High Ethical Standards
’This review of the MPA is currently underway. The Audit Commission’s project leader will attend the meeting to outline the scope of the review and emerging findings. - Second Annual Assembly of Standards Committees, 9/10 June 2003Oral report back on this Assembly, which was attended by Cecile Wright and the Deputy Clerk.
