Decision

No failure to breach the code of conduct

The Standards Committee found that following an investigation into a complaint raised by Len Duvall, Assembly Member, that there was no failure to breach the MPA’s Code of Conduct by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

It agreed with the recommendation of the investigator for the MPA to consider with the MPS and GLA a protocol to cover the management of information by senior police officers, senior members and officers of the MPA and the Mayor in relation to critical incidents, and requested that appropriate training on the Code of Conduct is made available.
