Items to be considered while the press and public are present

  1. Apologies for absence
  2. To receive any declarations of interests from members of the Committee.
    If a member declares a personal interest, as defined in the MPA’s code of conduct, she or he may remain in the meeting and speak and vote on the issue. If the issue is a prejudicial one, the member must withdraw from the meeting during the discussion of that item.

  8. Items from Consultation Committee: the meeting of the Consultation Committee on 22 September was inquorate and was therefore unable to transact formal business. The following two items are therefore referred to this Committee for consideration:
    1. Community and Police Consultative Groups Development and Reform Programme and funding process for 2004/05
    2. MPA quick time consultation
  9. Any other urgent business

Additional paper provided on day of meeting: An independent inquiry into the conduct by the Metropolitan Police Service of internal investigations, grievance and conflict resolution, and employment tribunal claims

Members were reminded that if they had a financial interest in any matter that was discussed at the meeting they should have declared the interest and not taken part in any discussion or voted on it.
