- To receive any declarations of interests from members of the Committee.
If a member declares a personal interest, as defined in the MPA’s code of conduct, she or he may remain in the meeting and speak and vote on the issue. If the issue is a prejudicial one, the member must withdraw from the meeting during the discussion of that item. - Minutes: 19 April 2004 (Part 1)

To resolve that the press and public be asked to leave the meeting during discussion of the remaining items of business because exempt information as defined in paragraph 14 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 is likely to be made known.
