Date: 18 September 2001

Summary
This report proposes dates for future meetings of the Estates Sub-Committee
A. Recommendations
- That Members agree to meet two monthly; and
- That Members agree to either options 1 or 2, as outlined in the report, or agree alternative dates
B. Supporting information
1. The Estates Sub-Group had agreed to meet on Tuesday, 18 September, Monday 22 October and Monday 19 November 2001 at 1.30 p.m. The first meeting of the new Sub-Committee was therefore arranged for the 18 September.
2. The Authority last year agreed in principle to moving to a two monthly committee cycle, (although it was recognised that more frequent meetings of the Finance, Planning and Best Value Committee might be necessary over the budget period.). It is therefore suggested that the Estates Sub-Committee move to a two monthly cycle. Two options are proposed below:
Option 1
- Monday, 19 November 2001
- Tuesday, 22 January 2002
- Tuesday, 19 March 2002 (a.m., as Audit Committee meets p.m.)
- Tuesday, 21 May 2002
Option 2
- Monday, 22 October 2001
- Tuesday, 18 December 2001
- Tuesday, 19 February 2002
- Tuesday, 23 April 2002
- Tuesday, 25 June 2002
If option 2 is chosen, the Estates Sub Committee will meet in both September and October. All meetings will start at 1.30 p.m. unless stated otherwise.
4. The Finance, Planning and Best Value Committee will meet on the following dates: Thursday, 4 October 2001, Thursday, 8 November 2001 (provisional), Tuesday, 27 November 2001, Thursday, 6 December 2001, Thursday, 17 January 2002, Thursday, 21 February 2002, Thursday, 18 April 2002 and Thursday, 6 June 2002.
