Summary

This report informs Members of those projects, uncommitted in the five year Capital Building Programme, which exceed the revised MPS delegated authority and which will require MPA approval, in due course. The report also informs Members of all projects over £1 million currently under construction.

A. Recommendation

Members are asked to note the contents of this report.

B. Supporting information

1. The Capital Building Programme is a rolling programme of work, with a five years expenditure projection.

2. Schemes are incorporated into the programme following requests from users, endorsed by the Resource Allocation Committee and approved by the Metropolitan Police Authority.

3. Appendix 1 identifies all uncommitted projects that will require MPA approval Appendix 2 details those projects currently on site.

4. Quarterly reports will be presented to the MPA on all projects in the Capital Building Programme starting in July 2001.

C. Financial implications

The expenditure profiles of schemes under construction have been incorporated into the approved capital programme. Schemes due to start on site during this financial year, following MPA approval, have their expenditure profile included in the approved capital building programme.
