Summary

A. Recommendation

B. Supporting information

1. The committee received a report on this matter at its meeting held 17th April 2001. It approved the joint sale of this property together with the neighbouring owners (Petter Olsen AS) with whom a planning consent for redevelopment of the two sites has been obtained from Westminster City Council. The proceeds of sale are agreed to be divided on a 55/45 basis.

2. Best and final offers have been received from 3 companies: Berkeley Homes (West London) Ltd, Nicholson Estates Ltd and Barratt Homes Ltd.

C. Financial implications

A capital receipt will be received in two installments over two years.
