A. Recommendations

That

1. At the full Authority meeting on 23 May 2002, it was agreed that the Estates Sub-Committee should continue its existence within the new MPA committee structure.

2. The Committee is therefore asked to appoint the membership for the Sub-Committee and to seek nominations and appoint the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Sub-Committee.

3. As with all MPA committee's the quorum for meetings is 50% of the membership of a committee and members are asked to be mindful that as it is difficult to maintain a quorum if membership is too small.

4. The previous membership of the Sub-Committee was: Nicholas Long (Chair), Jennette Arnold (Deputy Chair), Richard Barnes, Elizabeth Howlett, Rachel Whittaker and Cecile Wright. The membership of the Sub-Committee does not necessarily have to be drawn from the Finance Committee, but can be made from the Authority as a whole.
