4. Minutes of the Police Pensions Forfeiture Sub-committee – 25 September 2003

The Sub Committee considered the minutes of the Sub Committee meeting held on 25 September 2003.

Resolved – That the minutes of the meeting held on 25 September 2003 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.

5. Exclusion of press and public

A resolution was put to exclude the press and public from the meeting during items 6, 7, and 8 as it was likely to disclose exempt information as described in paragraph 1, schedule 12a of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

Resolved – That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of agenda items 6, 7 and 8.

8. Police Pension Forfeitures – potential applications to the Home Secretary for certificates of forfeiture

(Agenda item 8)

Members considered six potential applications to the Home Secretary for certificates of forfeiture. It was agreed that certificates for forfeiture should be applied for in three of the cases considered.
