A resolution was put to exclude the press and public from the meeting during items 8 to 11 as they were likely to disclose exempt information as described in paragraph 1, schedule 12a of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).
Resolved – That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of agenda items 8 to 11.

Members resolved that an application should be made to the Home Office for a certificate of forfeiture in respect of an ex-officer.
58. Police Pensions Forfeiture case
(Agenda item 11)
After due deliberation members of the Committee decided that 65% of an ex-officer’s pension should be forfeited permanently.
