Summary

This report gives a summary of MPS performance against policing plan objectives for 2002-3.

A. Recommendation

Members are asked to note the report.

B. Supporting information

1. The MPS Performance Review Committee (PRC) has not formally met to consider this report due to the timing of the Christmas break. The report has been circulated internally and issues arising from it discussed.

2. The report gives brief commentary on all priorities. Annex A gives a list of policing plan performance indicators, and other high profile performance measures.

3. The November meeting of Performance Review Committee discussed the potential implications of the National Intelligence Model for strategic performance review functions, and the National Policing Plan.
