Summary
This report gives a summary of MPS performance against policing plan objectives for 2002-3.
A. Recommendation
That the report be noted.
B. Supporting information
1. The report gives brief commentary on all priorities. Appendix 1 gives a list of policing plan performance indicators, and other high profile performance measures.
2. This January meeting of the Performance Review Committee received an initial report regarding the developing Operational Policing Measure and discussed the potential implications of this work. Also discussed were the emerging plans for 2003-4 and 2003-5, and comparative performance data for UK metropolitan forces and police forces in world cities.
