Summary

A report was received by the Consultation Committee on the 18 March which summarised the complementary methods by which the MPA and MPS would seek the viewpoints of Londoners in informing the 2005/06 Policing Plan. The Committee noted the report and resolved that it be referred to the Planning, Performance and Review Committee for review and comment.

B. Supporting information

1. A report (attached at Appendix 1) was received by the Consultation Committee on the 18 March which summarised the complementary methods by which the MPA and MPS would seek the viewpoints of Londoners in informing the 2005/06 Policing Plan.

2. Consultation Committee members felt there was a need to measure and evaluate the outcomes of consultation and requested a further report on this subject in November 2004. It was resolved that the report be referred to the Planning, Performance and Review Committee for review and comment.
