Summary

This report introduces the MPS Public Attitude Survey 2000

A. Supporting information

1. The results of the MPS Public Attitude Survey 2000 are now available.

2. A copy of the full report and executive summary has already been circulated to members.

3. The survey reports views from members of the public in London about policing issues and priorities. Emerging findings of the survey were presented to the Finance, Planning and Best Value Committee when considering priorities for next years policing plan.

B. Recommendations

  1. Members are asked to note the report.
  2. Members are invited to consider the findings of this survey in conjunction with other reports on the performance of the MPS
