Summary
This report invites the Sub-Committee to consider whether it wishes to appoint a Vice-Chairman and also to agree the date of its meetings.
A. Recommendations
That the Sub-committee
- considers whether it wishes to appoint a Vice-Chairman, and if so to make an appointment; and
- agrees the date and times of its future meetings as set out in paragraphs 2 and 3 below.
B. Supporting information
1. It has been suggested that the Sub-Committee may wish to appoint a Vice-Chairman in order to be able to deputise in the absence of the Chairman.
2. The following dates in 2009 are put forward for members consideration.
- 8 April 4.00 pm
- 30 April 2.00 pm
- 21 May 10.00 am
- 4 June 10.30 am
- 16 July 10.00 am
3. It is also necessary to consider dates for sessions to give detailed consideration to the budget proposals for 2010/11. At this stage members may wish to put all of the following slots in their diaries, on the basis that it might transpire that not all of the slots will be required.
- 23 July am
- 24 July am and pm
- 30 July pm
- 31 July am and pm
