Part 1

31. Election of chair

(Agenda item 1)

Nominations for chair were sought.

Resolved – That Jennette Arnold chair the meeting of the ACPO Conduct Sub-Committee.

32. Apologies

(Agenda item 2)

Apologies for absence were received from Reshard Auladin.

33. Declarations of interests from members of the sub-committee

(Agenda item 3)

It was noted that Richard Sumray was exempt from attending the meeting to discuss this particular case, as he has been involved in discussions relating to it on a previous occasion. He did not therefore attend the meeting.

34. Exclusion of press and public

(Agenda item 4)

A resolution was put to exclude the press and public from the meeting during item 5 as it was likely to disclose exempt information as described in Schedule 12(a) (1) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

Resolved – That the press and public be excluded from the meeting during discussion of agenda item 5.
