Islington Community Safety Board - first public meeting

A new model of community-police consultation in Islington, launched by the Metropolitan Police Authority, is to hold its first public meeting. The themes for this meeting will be anti-social behaviour, young people, and the fear of crime.
Anyone who lives or works in Islington is welcome to come and contribute to the debate and make suggestions to improve community safety in the borough.
The meeting will be attended by the borough’s police commander, the lead councillor for community safety and the MPA’s link member, Jennette Arnold.
Time: Tuesday 24 May, 7 - 8 pm
Place: The Mezzanine Room, Arsenal FC, Avenell Road, N5.
Members of the press are welcome to attend.
Notes to editors
1. The Islington Community Safety Board, comprising representatives from the borough’s diverse communities, will make it possible for people to engage with Islington police, Islington council and the MPA in constructive discussion about crime and community safety issues and local responses in the borough.
