Hammersmith & Fulham community safety board – first public meeting

A new model of community-police consultation in Hammersmith & Fulham, launched by the Metropolitan Police Authority, is to hold its first public meeting. The theme for this meeting will be relations between the community and police.

Anyone who lives or works in Hammersmith & Fulham is welcome to come and contribute to the debate and make suggestions to improve community safety in the borough.

The meeting will be attended by the borough’s police commander Heather Valentine, Cllr Reg McLaughlin the lead councillor for community safety and the MPA borough link member, Cindy Butts.

  • Time: Tuesday 21 June, 7–8 pm
  • Place: Fatima Community Centre, Commonwealth Avenue, White City Estate, London W12 7QR

Members of the press are welcome to attend.

Notes to editors

1. The Hammersmith & Fulham Community Safety Board, comprising representatives from the borough’s diverse communities, will make it possible for people to engage with Hammersmith & Fulham police, Hammersmith & Fulham council and the MPA in constructive discussion about crime and community safety issues and local responses in the borough.
