MPA committee meeting: Strategic and Operational Policing Committee

A meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority Strategic and Operational Policing Committee will be held in Meeting Room 1, 10 Dean Farrar Street, London, SW1H 0NY on Thursday 4 February 2010 at 2.00pm.
Members of the Authority will discuss, amongst other items:
- Directorate of Public Affairs – Thematic Performance report on the role and work of the MPS;
- Update on Human Rights Act 1998;
- Cautions for carrying offensive weapons;
- Findings of the evaluation of the MPS youth engagement activities and next steps;
- Domestic Violence and Child Protection;
- Serious Crime Directorate Mediation Project; and
- Blue Light Feasibility Study Report.
