MPA Committee Meeting: Finance and Resources Committee

A meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority Finance and Resources Committee will be held in Meeting Room 1, 10 Dean Farrar Street, London, SW1H 0NY on Thursday 14 April at 2.00pm.
Members of the committee will discuss, amongst other items:

Finance matters

  • Capital and revenue budget monitoring 2010/11 – period 11
  • Local authority match funding scheme: setting out details of the scheme offered to local authorities, under Section 92 of the Police Act 1996, where if they fund one officer another officer will be provided at no additional charge 

Estate matters

  • Transfer of front counter facilities Sutton: recommending the transfer of the front counter from Wallington police station to Crosspoint House Safer Neighbourhoods base Wallington
  • Disposal of Surbiton, Harold Hill and Rainham former police stations: seeking approval to dispose of the freehold interests in former police stations at 299 Ewell Road, Surbiton; Gooshays Drive, Harold Hill, Romford; and 1-6 New Road, Rainham; all following open market tenders
