  2. To receive any declarations of interest from members of the Authority.
    If a member declares a personal interest, as defined in the MPA’s code of conduct, she or he may remain in the meeting and speak and vote on the issue. If the issue is a prejudicial one, the member must withdraw from the meeting during discussion of that item.
  3. Minutes of the meeting of the Authority held on 25 September 2003
  4. Minutes of Committees
    The approved or draft minutes of the following committee meetings will be circulated separately to Members of the Authority for information. Minutes are publicly reported to the following meeting of the committee concerned for approval. They can also be viewed by contacting the committee officer named at the bottom of this agenda.

    2. The Draft Budget Submission
      The Draft Budget Submission comprises a number of components, as follows:
      A. The Business Plan:
      A.1. An analysis highlighting where the Mayor’s policy directives have been addressed in the ‘Towards the Safest City 2003 - 2005' strategy. Some copies will be available at the meeting.
      A.2. A summary of MPS plans to increase the safety and security of women, which is a key MPA policy requirement from the Mayor.
      A.3. An evaluation of the main business risks facing the organisation.
      B. Equalities
      B.1. MPA budget and equalities submission 2004-07
      B.2. MPS budget and equalities submission 2004-05
      C. Revenue Budget 2004/05 to 2006/07
      D. Capital Budget 2004/05 to 2008/09
      E. The Step Change Programme

Members were reminded that if they had a financial interest in any matter that was discussed at the meeting they should have declared the interest and not taken part in any discussion or voted on it.
