Appointments to Sub-committees

Summary

The Strategic and Operational Policing Committee (SOPC) is asked to note the appointments to its three sub committees – Counter Terrorism (CT) and Protective Services Sub-Committee, Olympic/Paralympic Sub-Committee and Professional Standards Cases Sub-Committee made by the full Authority on 29 October 2009 and confirm the appointment of Chairs and Deputy Chairs to those committees.

A. Recommendation

That

1. members note the membership of the Sub Committee made by the full Authority on 29 October 2009; and
2. confirm the appointment of Chairs and Deputy Chairs of the Counter Terrorism and Protective Services Sub-Committee, Olympic/Paralympic Sub-Committee and Professional Standards Cases Sub-Committee.

B. Supporting information

1. At the meeting of the full Authority on 29 October a report was considered giving expressions of interest for appointment to the MPA’s sub committees. For the SOPC sub-committees, these were as follows and members are asked to ratify these appointments.

CT and Protective Services Sub-Committee
