This meeting was an inquorate meeting, meaning that not enough MPA Members were able to attend to make any decisions on the reports presented and as such only notes of the meeting were recorded.

Part 1

Items to be considered while the press and public are present

  1. Apologies for absence
  2. To receive any declarations of interests from members of the Committee.
    If a member declares a personal interest, as defined in the MPA’s code of conduct, she or he may remain in the meeting and speak and vote on the issue. If the issue is a prejudicial one, the member must withdraw from the meeting during the discussion of that item.
  3. Minutes: 20 October 2003 (Part 1)
  4. Review of Resources Allocation Formula
  5. Any other urgent business
  6. Exclusion of Press and Public
    To resolve that the press and public be asked to leave the meeting during discussion of the remaining items of business because exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 is likely to be made known. Please note that members of the press and public must leave the meeting at this point.

Members were reminded that if they had a financial interest in any matter that was discussed at the meeting they should have declared the interest and not taken part in any discussion or voted on it.
