Summary

This report provides an overview of performance for the financial year to date, i.e. April to November 2004. Where comparisons are made, these are against the corresponding period, last year, i.e. April to November 2003.

The report structure is aligned with the performance headings set out in the Policing Performance and Assessment Framework (PPAF).

The tables referred to in the document, including those for the Financial Year 2003/04 can be found in Appendix 1.

1. Members are referred to Appendix 1, which contains the latest performance update for relevant Statutory Performance Indicators, Policing Plan Indicators and other areas of MPA interest.

C. Race and equality impact

Implications of performance against individual targets are considered in in-depth performance reports throughout the year. This report notes exceptions in strategic disproportional indicators where applicable.

D. Financial implications

The content of this report raises no additional financial implications beyond forecasts and estimates previously presented to the authority.
