May meetings at the Metropolitan Police Authority

The MPA will be holding a series of committee meetings during the month of May. These meetings are open to the public and press, and the agendas and documents for the meetings will be posted on our website at www.mpa.gov.uk/committees

The next meeting of the Full Authority will be held on the 23 May 2002 and at this meeting the Commissioner, Sir John Stevens, will give an update on current policing issues in London. All meetings will be held at Romney House, Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY.

  • Chair’s Co-ordination and Urgency Committee 7 May 3.00pm
  • Consultation Diversity and Outreach Committee 9 May 6.00pm
    (to be held at Hackney Town Hall)
  • Full Authority Meeting 23 May 10.00am
  • Finance Planning and Best Value Committee 29 May 2.00pm
  • Estates Sub Committee 30 May 1.30pm

*This is a new Sub-Committee set up to investigate and deal with any allegations, reports or complaints about the conduct of senior police officers (of ACPO rank), in accordance with the appropriate regulations. Due to the issues that will be considered by this Sub-Committee, these meetings will be held in private
