The Annual Meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority will be held in Meeting Room 1 (ground floor), 10 Dean Farrar Street, SW1 on Thursday 8 July 2004 at 10.00am. It will be followed by an ordinary meeting of the Authority. Both meetings are open to members of the public and press.
Members will elect the Chair and Deputy Chair(s) of the Authority as well as the Chairs, Deputy Chairs and membership of MPA committees. Appointments to outside bodies and organisations will also be made.
As part of the agenda for the ordinary meeting, Sir John Stevens will give an update on operational policing issues in London.
