MPA Chairman Kit Malthouse congratulates MPA Chief Executive Catherine Crawford, on receiving OBE

32/10
12 June 2010

MPA Chairman Kit Malthouse said:

"Only those who work closely with Catherine see the true extent of her conscientious and dedicated service to London and the nation.

"On our  behalf she carries many burdens and, when called upon, has diligently and selflessly played her part in bringing the capital and its police force through their darkest hours.

"That Her Majesty the Queen has  recognised Catherine's achievements today will delight many, many people across the country who she has helped, advised or supported.

"Her contribution to policing has been immense and for that we are all in her debt. Today she has our congratulations and our gratitude for her many years of public service."
