Victoria Borwick (Conservative, Londonwide)

Victoria is a member of the London Board of Crimestoppers, is a Kensington & Chelsea Councillor and is chairman of Borough Community Relations. As an elected member of the Greater London Authority, Victoria is on the Transport Committee and the Economic Development, Culture, Sport and Tourism Committee which also covers the 2012 Olympics. In addition she is on the Standards and Confirmations Committees.

Victoria was born in London and has lived there all her life. Married to Jamie, they have 4 children. Victoria has been a member of the Conservative Party for many years and in 2007 she came second to Boris Johnson in the selection process to choose the Conservative candidate for Mayor.

Victoria Borwick is vice chair of the MPA Communities, Equalities and People Committee, a member of the Community Engagement and Citizen Focus Sub-committee and member of the Olympics / Paralympics Sub-committee. She also chairs the Authority’s Civil Liberties Panel, established as a means of securing public confidence in policing tactics in the capital and ensuring the Met maintains public trust..
