Clive Lawton

Independent Member

Clive Lawton is a senior consultant to Limmud, a Jewish adult education movement and a freelance management and educational consultant. He is also a broadcaster, writer and lecturer as well as scholar in residence at the London Jewish Cultural Centre.

His interest in policing issues has developed from serving on the Home Office Police Modernisation Committee as a representative of the Home Secretary’s Race Equality Advisory Panel. He has also worked as a consultant for Centrex, the national police training organisation. He is a magistrate on the Haringey Bench and has in the past been Chair of the North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.
