This report gives details, for information, of action taken by the Clerk under delegated authority on the grounds of urgency.

1. Standing Order 11 provides for the Clerk to take decisions under delegated authority and in consultation with the Chair of the Authority where a decision is required urgently. Decisions taken in this way have to be reported to the next meeting of the Authority for information.

2. On 24 June the Clerk agreed the attendance of the Chair at the Local Government Association annual conference on 2 to 5 July. Normally this decision would have been taken by the Co-ordination & Policing Committee. This decision was taken in consultation with Richard Barnes, as Deputy Chair.

C. Financial implications

The conference costs can be met from the existing budget.
