Summary

This report gives details, for information, of action taken by the Clerk under delegated authority on the grounds of urgency.

A. Recommendation

That the report be noted.

B. Supporting information

1. Standing Order 11 provides for the Clerk to take decisions under delegated authority and in consultation with the Chair of the Authority where a decision is required urgently. Decisions taken in this way have to be reported to the next meeting of the Authority for information.

2. The following action has been taken since the last meeting of the Authority's Decisions on extension of two MPS fixed term appointments and a fixed term contract Approval of the attendance of R David Muir at the National Black Police Association Conference in Los Angeles, 19 – 25 August 2002 Approval of liability insurances and premia for 2002/03, from 1 August 2002  Acquisition of leasehold premises at Spring Gardens, Tinworth Street, SE11 and associated fit out works  Approval of relocation costs under the Witness Protection Scheme.
