Summary

The attached report was considered by the Planning, Performance and Review Committee on 13 March. In view of the importance of this aspect of the MPS’s work, the report is reproduced here to keep all members informed of the position.

1. The report attached as Appendix 1 was considered by the Planning, Performance & Review Committee at its meeting on 13 March. In the context of the Victoria Climbié Inquiry and the forthcoming Green Paper, it was felt that the full Authority should also be informed of how the MPS is responding to the relevant recommendations of the Climbié Inquiry Report.
