This report gives details, for information, of action taken by the Clerk under delegated authority on the grounds of urgency.

A. Recommendation

B. Supporting information

1. Standing Order 6.1 provides for the Clerk or Treasurer to take decisions under delegated authority and in consultation with the Chair of the Authority where a decision is required urgently. Decisions taken in this way have to be reported to the next meeting of the Authority for information.

2. The following action has been taken since the last meeting of the Authority:

  • Approving the annual uprating of members’ allowances (by 3.25%) in line with the Police Support Staff Council award, to be effective from 1 April 2004
  • Deciding not to accept two questions to the Authority submitted by Ms ben-Maimon relating to Lambeth Community Police Consultative Group. Details of the questions and reasons for refusal have been sent to members
