This report gives details, for information, of action taken by the Clerk under delegated authority on the grounds of urgency.

B. Supporting Information
1. Standing Order 6.1 provides for the Clerk or Treasurer to take decisions under delegated authority and in consultation with the Chair of the Authority where a decision is required urgently. Decisions taken in this way have to be reported to the next meeting of the Authority for information.
2. The following action has been taken since the last meeting of the Authority:
- Agreeing the terms for the settlement of a compensation case (9/04)
- Agreeing amendments to the Scheme of Members’ Expenses to clarify what facilities can be offered to MPA members (10/04)
- Refusing to extend the time limit for an appeal under the Police Appeals Tribunals Regulations 1999 (11/04)
