Summary

This report asks the Authority to approve the minutes of the Authority meeting held on 24 November 2011.

Members are also asked as this is the final meeting of the Authority to agree the minutes of those committees and sub-committees that have held their final meetings and that the chairs of those committee and sub-committee be asked to agree and signed them as a correct record.

A. Recommendations

That Members

  1. the minutes of the Authority meeting held on 24 November 2011 (contained at Appendix 1) be signed agreed and signed as a correct record; and
  2. the minutes of the committees and sub-committees that have held their final meetings be agreed and signed by the chairs of those committees and sub-committees.

Full Authority minutes – 21 November 2011

1. This report asks members of the Authority to agree the minutes of the meeting held on 24 November 2011 and which are attached at Appendix 1 to this report.

Committees and Sub-Committees minutes

2. As a number of the Authority’s committees and sub-committees have held their final meetings in November/December 2011 there is a need for these minutes to be formally agreed and signed as a correct record.

3. The minutes that require approval are:

  • Communities, Equalities and People Committee (3 November 2011)
  • Joint Finance and Resources and Strategic and Operational Policing Committee (17 November 2011)
  • Counter Terrorism and Protective Services Sub-Committee (25 November 2011)
  • Olympic/Paralympic Sub-Committee (1 December 2011)
  • Community Engagement & Citizen Focus Sub-Committee (5 December 2011)
  • Resources and Productivity Sub-Committee (1 December 2011)
  • Equality and Diversity Sub-Committee (8 December 2011)
  • Strategic and Operational Committee (8 December 2011)
  • Corporate Governance Committee (12 December 2011)
  • HR & Remuneration Sub-Committee (15 December 2011)
  • Finance and Resources Committee (15 December 2011)
  • Estate Panel (15 December 2011)

4. Draft copies of the minutes of these meetings are being circulated to chairs and members of those committees and sub-committees prior to this meeting for consideration and comment.

5. Final draft copies of part one minutes will also be posted on the MPA website (under each committee/sub-committee heading) at www.mpa.gov.uk.

6. Subject to any further comments members may wish to make it is proposed that the Authority agrees these minutes be agreed and signed by the chairs of those committees and sub-committees as a correct record.
