Summary
The Committee is asked to appoint the Chair, Deputy Chair and membership of the Remuneration Sub Committee for the year.
A. Recommendations
That the Chair, Deputy Chair and membership of the Remuneration Sub Committee be agreed.
B. Supporting information
1. At the full Authority meeting on 21 May, it was agreed that the Remuneration Sub Committee should continue its existence in the new committee structure.
2. The Committee is therefore asked to appoint its membership. Members should also be mindful of the requirement for a quorum of members, this is difficult to maintain if membership is very small. The membership has been drawn from the Human Resources Committee, plus the Chair of the Authority. The current membership is Rachel Whittaker (Chair), Cecile Wright (Deputy Chair), Tony Arbour and Toby Harris.
