Please name the number of police stations disposed of by the MPA in the last 10 years.

Please disclose the amount of money these stations were sold for.

  1. The number of police officers certified as permanently/likely to be permanently disabled by the SMP for the MPA in Nov 2005 to Nov 2006 and Nov 2006 to Nov 2007.
  2. The number of police officers certified as permanently/likely to be permanently disabled by the SMP for the MPA in the above time frames due to mental illness, depression or stress.
  3. The number of police officers in the above time frames that were judged by the SMP for the MPA as not permanently/likely to be permanently disabled who appealed and the % of those that were successful on appeal.
  4. The number of police officers who were suffering from stress/depression or mental illness in the above time frames that were judged by the SMP for the MPA as not permanently/likely to be permanently disabled who appealed and the % of those that were successful on appeal.

Please supply me with the following information under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, including Section 77.

All questions refer to police 'chief officers' appointed by your authority in the ranks of Assistant Chief Constable/Commander and above.

  1. Do you pay pensionable salaries in strict accordance with the provisions of PNB Circular 07/8? [Answer 'Yes' or 'NO']
  2. State number of chief officers eligible for bonus payments under the PNB approved scheme, the number who have a right to opt out of the scheme and the number who have exercised that right? How many chief officers received bonus payments in respect of the performance year 2006/07?
  3. The number of chief officers you provide with a car, or as an alternative a cash allowance, as part of their benefits package?
  4. The number of officers you provide financial assistance to in relation to private health cover?
  5. Do you provide any other form of financial assistance to chief officers [or their families] not specified at [a] to [d] above? If the answer is 'Yes', please specify amount of allowance by bands, title assigned to the allowance and the purpose of the allowance. Each allowance should be accounted for individually, if more than one is paid. If the amounts and nature of the allowances vary from chief officer to chief officer please list number of officers by band.
  6. If the answer to [e] was 'Yes', please state which body or individual approved the payment of public funds in this way i.e. Full Police Authority, Authorised PA Committee, PA Chair/Chairman or Chief Executive.
  7. Please provide a copy of your policy and any other information/documentation on publicising details of allowances covered in [a] to [e] above? For example, do you publicise in 'Police Review' advertisements, application packs, disclose to short listed candidates, discuss with successful candidates or have a specific reference in annual statement of accounts?
  8. Please provide a copy of any or all Equality Impact Assessments on any allowances other than those specified at [a] to [d] above.

If information is 'not held' in respect of the points at [a] to [e] above, please state this explicitly in your response.
