MPA committee meeting: Strategic and Operational Policing Committee

A meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority Strategic and Operational Policing Committee will be held on Thursday 1 April in Meeting Room 1, 10 Dean Farrar Street, London, SW1H 0NY, at 2.00pm.

Members of the Authority will discuss, amongst other items:

  • Specialist Crime Directorate thematic performance report:
    performance against its headline measures and targets with specific commentary on e-crime project and asset seizure
  • Taylor reforms: one year on and organisational learning:
    an update on progress following the implementation of the first twelve months of the Taylor Reforms (New police misconduct and performance procedures)
  • Professional standards performance indicators 2009/10:
    including details of preparation for the revised Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) statutory guidance
  • New statutory guidance from the Independent Police Complaints Commission:
    outlining the new statutory guidance on the police complaints system issued by the Independent Police Complaints Commission, coming into effect on 1 April 2010
