Reshard Auladin OBE

Vice Chair of the Metropolitan Police Authority & Independent Member

Reshard was reappointed to the MPA in 2008, having served as a magistrate member for 8 years. He was deputy Chair of the authority from 2004 to 2008.

A magistrate since 1989, Reshard sits on the Enfield bench in adult and family courts. He was chair of the Enfield youth panel from 2001 to 2005 and was a member on the Enfield Magistrates Court’s Committee for 5 years. He was a Non Executive Director of the Assets Recovery Agency from 2004 to 2007.He worked in the NHS for many years and he presently runs his own business in the mental health care sector.

A graduate of science and education, he taught in a comprehensive school for a while in the 1980s. He retains an interest in education and is currently a trustee of a Muslim educational charity in north London.

He has a keen interest in criminal justice and counter terrorist issues. He is a member of the London Criminal Justice Board.
