Summary

The Equal Opportunities and Diversity Board received the attached report at its meeting on 4 December 2003. The Board agreed to refer recommendation 4 to the Authority.

A. Recommendation

That, as requested by the Equalities and Diversity Board, the Authority considers its response to recommendation 4 in appendix 1.

B. Supporting information

1. The report attached at appendix 1 was received by the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Board on 4 December. The appendices referred to are not included.

2. The recommendations contained in the report were agreed and the Authority is therefore asked to consider recommendation 4 concerning the monitoring of the equalities performance of Community and Police Consultative Groups. This aspect is discussed in paragraphs 5 to 7 of the report.
