Summary
The report requests the Panel to change the date of its meeting in June 2003.
A. Recommendations
- That members consider the request that the date of the Audit Panel in June 2003 be amended; and
- To decide which of the dates identified in paragraph 2 the meeting be held on.
B. Supporting information
Background
1. The next meeting of the Audit Panel is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of 26 June 2003. As members may be aware, the Annual Meeting of the Authority takes place in the morning of the same day. As any changes to committee memberships made at the Annual Meeting would have immediate effect there could be difficulties in holding an Audit Panel meeting that afternoon.
2. The suggested alternative dates are:
- Monday 16 June at 2.00 p.m.
- Thursday 19 June at 10.00 a.m.
- Monday 23 June at 10.00 a.m.
3. The Panel is asked whether it agrees to change the date of the meeting from 26 June, and if so to decide the preferred alternative date.
