ACPO bonus payments

February 2009

The ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officer) bonus scheme was introduced nationally as part of the terms and conditions for senior police officers. The MPA undertakes assiduous assessments to consider individuals' eligibility for bonus payments: in 2006/07, from an available total of £470,218 the Authority paid out only £190,935 amongst its 35+ ACPO officers.
